(Today's Humane Education To Educate and Motivate!)
By Randy N. Warner

21st Century CARES has been promoting and presenting humane education within our nation's schools for over 12 years. We offer a series of humane education books for schools, and is available for your preview and purchase   Our website offers over 900 pages of learning materials for all ages. This particular book is targeted towards any and all people who love these animals and work with rescues, shelters and other animal protection organizations. We obviously respect all who devote their lives to saving the various animals. However, in standing along the sidelines for a few years, I began to realize that some major changes truly need to be implemented within the efforts of the entire animal protection movement if we expect to actually reach our goals. This book is just that. Many will take offense with some of the discussions and figures presented, but nothing within the entire text is meant to demean, nor degrade and given effort or organization, but only to show how everyone could improve their efforts through some much needed changes.

The single most important piece of the book is what I offer for my 'preview'.  Please check it out and share it with everyone you know.    CLICK HERE FOR PREVIEW OF 'TO LOOK WITHIN'.

At some point in time, we must all make the decision to stop exhausting our energies and resources that place their focus on only cleaning up yesterday's messes and to decide we want to see solutions that will ultimately protect the millions and billions of animals yet to be born as well. Humane Education is the best.... no, the ONLY means we have to accomplish this goal!. We must not lose perspective, and we shall choose those campaigns that will save more animals in the long run. The animals who exist today are a very tiny percentage of the animals who will be killed and tortured in the coming centuries and millennia. Paying excessive attention to those who suffer today is condemning millions more to suffer the same fate. We've spent billions of dollars trying to clean up the existing troubles and have given little if any time and effort to tomorrow and all the animals to come. We must all, in the near future, decide that we honestly DO want to see some resolve and to begin a comprehensive effort of learning and education that will truly reduce the number of animal abuse cases and the numbers of unwanted animals being born today

Don't forget to catch the release of  ''YOUR MOMMY KILLS ANIMALS'' in the late spring of 2007   A documentary on the animal welfare vs. animal rights movement in America with Warner giving a brief appearance in the film that has already garnered so much Oscar Buzz by the 2 Time Academy Award winning film maker Curtis Johnson of Inde-Genius Productions.  This film confirms Warner's thoughts from his book  ''TO LOOK WITHIN''.

REVIEWS FROM ANIMAL PROTECTION PROFESSIONALS

As the former 5 year Director of Animal Placement at the ASPCA, and President of Animal News Center for 3 years, I have worked closely with 21st Century CARES on several projects. I feel the timing of the release of this very informative material is well overdue, the content of the website as well as the series of handbooks for humane education is simply unrivaled and unavailable elsewhere. Attempting to cover every conceivable angle on this topic which is so close to so many's heart - makes it a book that you just can' put down.  Well written and thank goodness he had the guts to actually offer it to the public!!!!  Until we recognize that our personal agendas and the greed that penetrates the industry giants are actually preventing us from seeing resolve,  we will continue to fail year after year.

This book can change all that.

Sincerely,

After reading "To Look Within", I give Randy 2 thumbs up! Humane Education should be an integral part of American Education for all adults since the decisions they make affects our economy, taxes, lives of our children as well as the well being of our pets. . The material provided in this book is invaluable and should compliment the offerings at all academic institutions such as schools and libraries. The information provided in this book is geared towards educating society about salient issues related to non human animals to human relations, common pet misconceptions, proper care of animals - not to mention the egos and politics throughout the large national groups.  The animal protection effort is so devoted to their cause, yet fail to recognize the benefits of making everyone aware of the various efforts. This prevents duplication as well as creating a bond among the various entities.

Respectfully,

In a country of animal lovers lamenting the needless loss of lives due to the over population of dogs and cats, someone finally offered a solution! In an industry that is continuing to be lead and rules by money,  we who live in the middle of this effort can sit back and watch the government step in to police our efforts or we can face our own demons and police ourselves.  One way or another it is inevitable that it will happen.

The solution that has looked us in the face for years, but has lacked organization, direction, and simplicity is offered. When so many people are totally devoted towards their individual goals of helping animals, and Americans continue to spend $Billions annually through various taxes and donations related to animal's safety, it is about time someone presented an overview of our shortcomings as well as our strengths so that we may become more efficient in the end. We would save money, save lives, improve the education and compassion experienced by our children and more. I hope you will read this book and share it with others as well.

Pet overpopulation, abuse and neglect are simply a product of ignorance and indifference. Considering that we continue to kill approximately 8 million companion animals each year in this country and experience a growing number of abuse cases right under the noses of all the large animal groups who devote their lives to this cause, it's really no wonder the general public is not 'tuned in' to the steps we all must take to prevent this from continuing.

In the past 20 years, Americans have paid over $1 billion annually on local and area taxes for animal control. In that same time frame, Americans have donated an additional $1 billion annually to their favorite animal protection groups. With over 3,000 federally recognized non profits dedicated to helping animals - logging an estimated One Million man hours each year, that totals up to 20 Million man hours and $40 Billion since 1985.

Americans can do anything we put our minds to. So, why is it that we are unable to use this money and dedicated man hours to relay a few very simple messages to the public in general?   Why, we spent less than this to put a man on the moon and did that over 40 years ago.  Something is desperately missing from this equation.

This should give you an idea of what 'a billion' is:   1 billion seconds ago, it was 1971. 1 billion minutes ago Jesus was not even born.

We've trusted the larger animal groups with these funds for over 20 years. It's time we realize that it's our collective problem and we can't expect to 'buy' our way out of it. We must be informed and prepared to change. In this book, you will read the Ten Reasons Why our society is simply not geared towards achieving actual results in this arena. We just aren't.
