In 1981 my father and I bought this home.  It had been condemned by the city and although truly worth much more, we got it for just $90,000.  It was still listed on the Cincinnati Historic Home Tour and had a view that was second to none anywhere!!!  I moved in and did all the work. The 2 floors you see are the 3rd and 4th floors. 1st and 2nd floors were accessed from the stairs on the left side going down below since it sat on a steep hillside. When we sold it in 85, we got a nice profit.

THIS IS WHAT I SAW EVERY MORNING FROM MY LIVING ROOM WINDOW AND MAIN BALCONY

Hot Air Balloon Fest just below my kitchen window                              Cincinnati Reds must have made another home run!!!!

Annual Cincinnati Marathon below my balcony                                                     One foggy morning above the Ohio River

From Columbia PKWY you see my place and the multi million mansion built next door.                                        The above is night time from my lower porch.

The photos below.  top pic is before and lower one is after my efforts.

Now, see what can be done with a couple dollars and a can of paint!!  This is the same house just 20 yrs later with another owner.
